Mac Grove Painting was hired by the Hague family to complete a full exterior painting restoration on their charming two-story home in Stillwater, Minnesota. The property, a well-established suburban residence built in the early 1990s, features a classic wraparound porch, decorative shutters, and a broad façade — all of which required careful surface preparation before any paint was applied. Our team conducted a thorough inspection of the entire exterior, identifying all areas where siding had begun to peel or lose adhesion. Wherever peeling was present, we applied Zinsser Peel Bond primer, a high-performance adhesion primer specifically engineered to stabilize and seal failing paint surfaces, ensuring a sound base for the finish coats to follow.

With all surfaces properly primed and prepared, our painters applied Benjamin Moore Aura exterior paint throughout the project.
